The Avengers Trailer Blows Up!
According the Marvel, the trailer for next summer’s The Avengers film has broken download records on Apple’s movie trailers section by reaching over 10,000,000 downloads in the first 24 hours. That’s not so hard to believe. We’ve watched it about 5,000,000 times and are getting hyped. The film unites characters from other Marvel films such as Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, and The Incredible Hulk.
Can’t wait for 2012? Why not spend some time with some of The Avengers characters in their films available right now?
Iron Man and Iron Man 2: The films that put Robert Downey, Jr. back on the map in a big way. Chronicling the story of billionaire industrialist Tony Stark and his alter ego, both movies were box office phenoms and critically lauded. Iron Man 2 also gave us our first peek at Scarlett Johanssen as Black Widow, featured in the above The Avengers trailer. WATCH the trailer and clips from both films directly on Fanhattan.
Captain America: The First Avenger: This one wowed and surprised audiences with solid acting by Chris Evans, Hugo Weaving, and Tommy Lee Jones mixed with chatter-worthy throwback special effects. Thor: A superhero film directed by Kenneth Branagh? Sure, why not? Thor dazzled with ambitious visual effects and taut storytelling. Chris Hemsworth’s Thor paired up nicely with Natalie Portman’s “Jane Foster.” The film is Certified Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes. Natalie Portman is also in it. Just making sure you heard us. Hulk and The Incredible Hulk: The Hulk saga is certainly interesting. There’s the 2003 Ang Lee-directed version starring Eric Bana which … no, wait. Hey, Pssssst! Look over here! This is the real Hulk! Edward Norton in Louis Leterrier’s version. Whatever your pleasure, they’re both available now. You’ll get yet another green man fix in The Avengers.
